Epilepsy Action is the UK’s leading epilepsy organisation. It aims to improve the lives of everyone affected by the condition. As a member-led association, they are led by and represent people with the condition, their friends, families and healthcare professionals.

It can affect anyone at any age and from any walk of life. Globally there are over 50 million people living with it. Epilepsy Action is here to support people every step of the way through living with the condition.

Epilepsy Action: Leading Information Providers

They provide advice and information, online, in print and directly through their helpline. They also offer e-learning tips for living with the condition, videos and interactive quizzes. Their UK wide network of groups is growing all the time and gives people a great chance to share experiences and support each other. Their online forum has members around the world, all supporting each other, alongside a Facebook page.

They publish the number one paper and online magazine “Epilepsy Today” for members and on Kindle. It features the latest news and a broad range of articles and Europe’s only magazine for health professionals and European Journal.

As a charity they have to fund all their work. They run a variety of events like ours to meet people, have fun, challenges and raise money. They also work with individuals, businesses, members and offer a variety of volunteering opportunities.
